Karachi: Rangers Action — 2 Members of ‘Lalu Gang’ Involved in Diesel Smuggling and Street Crime Arrested

In Karachi, Rangers have arrested two members of a dangerous group involved in street crime and diesel smuggling during an intelligence-based operation.

According to a Rangers spokesperson, the operation was conducted in the Lalaabad and Sukhan areas of Karachi, where intelligence had indicated the presence of the suspects.

The arrested individuals have been identified as Hamidullah alias Mano and Faredullah. Weapons and two mobile phones were recovered from their possession.

Officials said that the arrested suspects, along with their accomplices, were involved in robberies and mobile phone snatching incidents in various areas of Karachi, including Qaidabad, Korangi, Lalaabad, and surrounding localities.

The spokesperson further stated that suspect Hamidullah was also found involved in diesel smuggling, and evidence regarding this activity has been obtained.

He added that the suspect is a habitual offender and has previously been arrested and imprisoned in multiple cases, with several FIRs already registered against him.

Rangers officials said that further investigations are underway to trace other members of the gang and gather important information about their wider network.
