ISLAMABAD: The Pakistan Meteorological Department has forecast predominantly hot and dry weather across most parts of the country over the next 24 hours, with very hot conditions likely in southern regions.
According to the outlook, the federal capital Islamabad and its surrounding areas are expected to experience hot and dry weather. In Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, upper districts will remain hot and dry, while southern districts are likely to face very high temperatures.
In Punjab, most areas will experience hot and dry conditions, with southern districts expected to see very hot weather along with dust-raising winds. Sindh is also likely to remain very hot and dry across the majority of its districts.
Similarly, Balochistan will witness hot and dry weather in most areas, with particularly intense heat in southern parts.
However, some relief is expected in northern regions. Kashmir may experience partly cloudy conditions with chances of isolated rain, wind, and thunderstorms during the afternoon. Gilgit-Baltistan is expected to remain partly cloudy and dry.
