Renowned Iranian human rights activist and Nobel Peace Prize laureate Narges Mohammadi has been granted bail on medical grounds and transferred to a hospital in Tehran.
According to Iranian sources, Narges Mohammadi had been suffering from severe physical complications for several days, causing serious concerns about her health condition.
Reports stated that she was experiencing intense pain in her chest, back, and arms, after which authorities decided to transfer her to a hospital for medical examination and treatment. She will reportedly receive treatment under the supervision of her personal medical team to ensure proper and effective healthcare.
Narges Mohammadi is internationally recognized for raising her voice in support of human rights, women’s freedom, and democratic values. She has faced legal issues in Iran for several years under various cases. International human rights organizations have repeatedly called for her release and for better medical facilities to be provided to her.
