An unfortunate incident occurred in the Gawargo area of Panjgur district in Balochistan, where a vehicle came under fire, resulting in the death of 3 people and injuries to 5 others. The incident spread fear and panic in the area.
According to police, the incident took place when local residents were traveling in a vehicle and unknown armed men suddenly opened fire on them. As a result, the people inside the vehicle were severely injured, while 3 died on the spot.
Authorities said that immediately after the incident, rescue teams and local administration shifted the injured and the bodies to Panjgur Teaching Hospital, where medical treatment is being provided to the injured.
Police stated that all the deceased and injured were local residents. According to initial investigations, the incident may be a targeted attack, but a final opinion will only be given after the completion of the investigation.
Police officials added that a case has been registered and an investigation has been launched.
