Gold prices recorded a significant decline on Monday in both local and international markets, offering some relief to buyers following recent record-high rates.
In Pakistan’s local bullion market, the price of 24-karat gold per tola dropped by Rs5,300, bringing the new rate down to Rs488,362.
Similarly, the price of 10 grams of gold decreased by Rs4,544, settling at Rs418,961.
The downward trend was also witnessed in global bullion markets, where gold prices fell by $53 per ounce to reach $4,660 per ounce.
Meanwhile, silver prices remained stable in the local market. The price of silver per tola held unchanged at Rs8,513.
