Hajj Flights Continue, 32,454 Pakistani Pilgrims Reach Saudi Arabia

The process of sending Pakistani pilgrims to Saudi Arabia for Hajj continues through ongoing Hajj flights, with both government and private scheme pilgrims departing from across the country for the sacred journey. Officials say the Hajj operation is progressing rapidly according to the scheduled plan.

According to Hajj authorities, 32,454 pilgrims have reached Saudi Arabia so far through 126 flights, while an additional 4,489 private pilgrims have also arrived. More flights are expected to depart in the coming days.

Officials stated that direct Hajj flights to Jeddah will begin from May 4, while 17 flights from various cities will depart today, carrying 4,377 pilgrims. The Pakistan Hajj Mission’s control office has also been activated to facilitate pilgrims.

The lost and found section has so far recovered and returned 6 pilgrims, 37 wheelchairs, and 3,700 bags to their rightful owners. Meanwhile, Haram guides have assisted more than 13,000 pilgrims in navigating routes correctly to ensure they can perform their religious duties without difficulty.

Regarding medical facilities, the Hajj medical mission remains fully operational. So far, it has provided 132 dental procedures, 28 X-rays, 18 laboratory tests, 8 ultrasounds, 5 ECGs, and more than 5,000 outpatient (OPD) services.

Officials said that accommodation, transport, and healthcare systems in Saudi Arabia are being further improved to ensure pilgrims do not face any difficulties and receive timely services.

During the Hajj operation, close coordination between Pakistani and Saudi authorities is being maintained to provide immediate assistance in any emergency situation. Special arrangements for immigration, logistics, and guidance have been made at airports, while volunteers have also been deployed for pilgrims’ assistance. Flight schedules are being continuously monitored, and alternative arrangements are in place in case of any delays.

Authorities added that all institutions are working in full coordination during the Hajj season to ensure maximum facilitation for pilgrims and uninterrupted services.
