Islamabad Police in Action: 24 Suspects Arrested in Search Operations, Drugs Recovered

In a continued crackdown against crime in the federal capital, Islamabad Police conducted grand combing and search operations in various areas, during which 24 suspected individuals were taken into custody. The operations were carried out to improve the security situation and eliminate criminal elements.

According to Islamabad Police, the raids were conducted in several sensitive and densely populated areas of the city, where suspects were identified, documents were checked, and vehicles were thoroughly searched. During the operation, 31 motorcycles were also shifted to concerned police stations for further investigation.

Police officials said that drug traffickers were also targeted during the operation, and 540 grams of heroin and 33 grams of ice (methamphetamine) were recovered from their possession. Initial investigations suggest that the arrested individuals were involved in drug trafficking and other suspicious activities.

Police stated that such search operations will continue in the future on a regular basis to maintain law and order and curb criminal activities in the city. Officials added that the purpose of these actions is not only to arrest criminals but also to enhance the sense of security among citizens.

During the operation, security checkpoints were established at various points, where detailed checking of vehicles and motorcycles was carried out. Individuals involved in suspicious activities were also questioned on the spot.

According to police sources, further investigation of the arrested suspects is underway. Citizens have been urged to immediately report any suspicious activity to the police so that timely action can be taken.
