A tragic incident occurred at a cattle market established in Qazi Ahmed area of Nawabshah, where a 10-year-old boy lost his life after being hit by a bull. The incident spread grief and sorrow throughout the area.
According to police and hospital sources, the deceased child was identified as Sarfraz. Reports said the accident took place while a large number of buyers and citizens were present at the cattle market as usual. During this time, a bull became uncontrollable and forcefully struck the child standing nearby, leaving him critically injured.
Eyewitnesses said that immediately after the incident, people present at the market rushed the child to a nearby hospital for medical treatment, but he could not survive. His body was later shifted to Tehsil Headquarters Hospital Qazi Ahmed, where doctors confirmed his death.
Police officials stated that after completing the necessary legal formalities, the body would be handed over to the family. Following the incident, fear and panic spread among citizens present at the cattle market, while several people demanded that the administration strengthen safety measures at cattle markets to prevent such tragic incidents in the future.
It is worth mentioning that a few days earlier, a 15-year-old boy was also struck by a bull at a cattle market set up in Attock city during Eid-ul-Adha preparations.
